Our Instructors
Head Coach Jonny
Jonny earned his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at Cascade Jiu-jitsu under professor Andrew Solheim in 2022. He has over twelve years of training and competing in this martial art. He has also been a full time public school teacher for a decade and brings his expertise in this field to instructing jiu-jitsu.
Coach Christie
Christie is a Brown Belt in jiu-jitsu and has also been training for over eleven years. She also has multi-year experience as a public school teacher with a Masters Degree in education and specializes in elementary Physical Education (PE). With her background as a PE teacher of K-5 grade students, Christie has a level of experience that results in an excellent kids’ jiu-jitsu program.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide personalized expert level instruction in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu by a highly qualified Brazilian Jiu-jitsu blackbelt utilizing a curriculum designed by an experienced public school teacher using time-tested, proven instructional strategies that cater to the individual needs of each student.
